Hey, welcome to geohashing and congratulations on getting the spot! It's always good to see some hashing activity from Russia... -- OtherJack 02:29, 1 September 2012 (EDT) , Seattle, USA

Thank you for your welcome. Can't stop thinking about about the ellipsis at the end of your comment, as if it implies something perhaps mysterious... Nevermind :) vb 03:18, 1 September 2012 (EDT)
Don't worry about it, I think I just over-use the ... when I write. No mysteries. -- OtherJack 13:49, 1 September 2012 (EDT)

Welcome from Sweden as well. You should totally try out the IRC channel that many of us hang out in... -- Cjk 15:28, 3 September 2012 (EDT) , Stockholm, Sweden

Welcome to geohashing! And I was surprised why nobody geohashed in Moscow... :-) If you plan any more expeditions in Moscow, notify me on the talk page, or (even better) send an email, so that I could try to meet up! --January First-of-May 09:51, 27 September 2012 (EDT)

Currently I'm trying to visit all the hashes that land within boundaries of (old) Moscow / easily reachable by subway+walking. The next is tomorrow. You're welcome to join certainly. vb 10:18, 27 September 2012 (EDT)

Saturday meetup, 2012-10-27

If nothing intervenes (and even if you don't declare that you arrive), I'll probably be waiting for you at the radial Paveletskaya station, at whatever sitting place is closest to the first carriage from center, between 3:50 and 4:10 pm (this being my best approximation for where the geohash is, and me currently having neither a GPS nor a camera).
I'll try to improvise some kind of marker to wave around so that you could notice me if you do in fact arrive :-) oh, and I'm starting a planning page as well, just in case it helps you to notice (edit: here it is). --January First-of-May 06:38, 27 October 2012 (EDT)

Moscow in Asia

comes from this list All graticules/Eurasia which has Moscow in Asia. If the list isn't correct, you are more than welcome to fix the lists. --NWoodruff (talk) 09:04, 31 August 2013 (EDT)

OK, thank you. I'll try to correct this by separating Russia graticules into Europe and Asia according to [1], placing boundary graticules based on which part is bigger. vb (talk) 12:14, 31 August 2013 (EDT)
