- 4pm or later is fine by me.
Speed racer may be possible if someone brings a car!- It's a footbridge.Me, I think I'll do the Formal attire achievement and strut down the Ku'damm in style- suit is still at the dry cleaners. Still, I can maybe do Tron achievement by public transport. --davidc 06:34, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
- We'll aim for 4pm then. :) -- relet 17:57, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
I might be around, but I've got no idea at what time, maybe 4 pm, mave much later. If I think I can make it at 4pm, I'll call someone of you, but I guess I'll just go there some time in the evening, Would be great to find a hashmarker then! :) --HiroProtagonist 11:03, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
Expedition
Jerrome
lyx
relet
Lyx again decided to add up to her total walking distance, and so we planned to meet on the way, me taking the bike. Matter-of-factly, we met at the geohash. I was late, as I spontaneously decided to assemble and print a marker when davidc announced that an illbehaving cough would keep him from coming. The trip was no challenge to either of us, and so we met on the highway footbridge, close to the hash.
Soon enough, lyx discovered Jerrome waving at us. He and his girlfriend had been there in time (they always are!) and waited for us to show up. We quickly decided for a tree to become today's hash tree, and while lyx attached the marker to it, I tried to convince my phone to connect to some data service to provide me with the exact location for today. Eventually, all three of our devices decided that it was close enough.
We chatted for a while, exchanging wiki tips and discovering that Jerrome had been ninja'ing for a while before his first reported expeditions. Then, the two left for coffee, and we took a few more photos and then jogged and rode back.
The meta house is something we discovered on the way. Everything meta is amazing, although I wonder in how far it is supposed to be meta.
Hiro
We were in Charlottenburg the whole Sunday and on the way back home, we jumped of the Ringbahn at Halensee and quickly and easily found our way through the dark to the hashtree (Thx for the marker!! :) ) We made some photos with his mobile (gah, when will I get a new camera) and then went back to catch the next Ringbahn. Probably the easiest geohash for me so far - except for the part of convincing my boyfriend^^
Tracklogs aplenty
Achievements
- lyx walked
- relet rode a bike
- we all met
