I took the train to Göttingen and walked the rest.

On the way, the sun rose. I saw the Gänseliesel and Gauß' grave. What would Gauß think about Geohashing? His involvement in both math and geodesy make me think he might have been interested, though he would probably insist on performing the Algorithm in his head.

The Geohash was not far away, on the sidewalk of a street that was leading up a hill.

After recording proof I walked back to the station. My train back had been cancelled though, and the one an hour after that, and the one after that too. After three hours of waiting, I finally got on a train that took me back home.

I left home at 10:30 and took the train to Göttingen. At the station of Eichenberg there was a sudden announcement, that there was a road blocking on the rails and a Schienenersatzverkehr. That was Corona-like: all the passengers of two big trains in a 50 places bus. OK. But I arrived at Göttingen, traveled by bus to the area of hash and made a short walk.
