Expedition
So far, I did only one expedition to a populated area, 2021-07-17_40_-3, and there I could not reach the geohash because it was in a private garden surrounding a house. The one of today seemed to reside on the property of a public health center, so it should be publicly accessible, and because the health center had an emergency unit, it should even be accessible on Sunday. So, I decided to give it a try.
In my last report for expedition 2021-12-10_40_-4, I had lamented that I had mostly explored my radius of operations and didn't see any new roads anymore. However, this time, the second half of the route, beyond Galapagar, was completely new to me. There was a lengthy city crossing through Collado Villalba, but the traffic was light, and after that the last 20 km were really nice, roaming through a scenic landscape.
The geohash was indeed easily accessible. Once more, like in expedition 2021-09-12_40_-4, I had forgotten to take my phone with me, so the final approach and proof had to be done with the navigation device.
I had planned to make a couple of stopovers and take some photos on the way back, but it was an elevated area (about 1000 meters high) and got already a bit cold. So, after just two stops, I rode straight home.

The geohash is quite in the center of the photo. The navigation device wanted me to approach it from the road behind the fence…
… but I came through this entrance. Again the geohash is quite in the center.
