My plans were to bike there but on the morning. However, when the time came I woke up but, let's say it like this, I felt comfortable enough in my bed and desisted the idea. And in an unorthodox turn of the events, I decided to go for it on the afternoon.
Left home at 16:30 and that meant I would still have 2 hours of sunlight and my prevision was that it would take me 1.5-2 hours to reach the hash. And it took me 1.5h.
Path was known kind of known from previous expeditions. Down the Llobregat river, follow it upstream a few kilometers, and the follow the affluent river Anoia. Until almost reaching Gelida. Saw lots of different birds along the way.
The hash fell on what looked an abandoned field, and this time I made sure the orography of this area was on my side ;) No crawling required. Some high grass to walk through, but nothing difficult. The dance was slow and short. Took a few pictures and the sun was almost setting.
The I went for a geocache from where I saw the sun setting and that meant gearing up with my night equipment. Some reflective here and there, and sufficient light to see the path ahead of my.
On the way back the fauna was quite different. Birds were not seen but instead different kinds of very reflecting eyes. The green/yellow ones were cats. Some green-ish approaching me were from a dog. Then even a wild boar crossed my way, both of us running away from each other ¿^^ finally on the forest a lot of red glaring eyes belonging to rabbits. And even heard the conversation between two Tawny owls. Riding at night is fun, I only hope to not encounter a two-legged animal.
I ended up with 55km on my legs. I would have never guessed, felt much less, that's what you get when you follow rivers.
