Expedition
In the morning, I cycled to Osnabrück Central and took the train via Bremen, Hamburg and Lübeck to Neustadt in Holstein. It was raining when I was switching trains in Hamburg and in Lübeck, and the weather report had predicted rain in the morning for Kellenhusen too, but luckily the rain had stopped once I arrived in Neustadt. From there, I took the bus to Grönwohldshorst/Ost and walked the rest of the distance.
The coordinates were in the Kellenhusen forest, not far from a path. Satellite imagery indicated that something looking like a small stream was running east of the coordinates, but luckily, it was just a dry ditch, so I didn't have to jump any bodies of water today.
Between a hunting stand and a large fallen tree, I located the coordinates and recorded proof. The Dance™ had taken pretty long, the GNSS reception was very laggy, but in the end, I got okay readings.
Afterwards, I walked through the forest to downtown Kellinghusen. On its beach, I ate a fish bun and walked to the end of its long pier into the Baltic Sea before going to the Kellenhusen/ZOB bus stop and taking the bus to Neustadt in Holstein. From there, I took the train via Lübeck, Hamburg and Bremen to Osnabrück Central and continued towards 2023-10-05 52 8 in Georgsmarienhütte.
It surprised me that this has only been the third expedition in this graticule! For me, this new graticule completes three minesweepers and in turn three super-minesweepers, doubling the total number of super-minesweepers.
