In the morning, I took the train via Osnabrück Central, Bremen, Hamburg, Elmshorn and Itzehoe to St. Michaelisdonn (STM). All went well until Wilster, less than 20 minutes before the train was scheduled to arrive in STM, when technical difficulties occured. This led to a 15-minute delay, which led to me missing the bus that was supposed to take me to Dieksanderkoog/Jürgensweg by five minutes.

The next bus was scheduled to leave in two hours, and it would take even longer to walk. Taking a bike would be quicker, but I did not find any rental options nearby. Two fellow travellers noticed that I had wanted to take the same bus as them, and proposed splitting a cab, which sounded like a good idea. The taxi driver took me to the bus stop that I had wanted to go to, and then drove away bringing my fellow travellers to their destination.

The coordinates were very close to the bus stop, I located them on a nearby field and located proof. There were so many wind turbines, it was amazing. Originally, I had planned to take a walk to Dieksanderkoog/Wasserhaus and take the bus back to STM from there, but since I lost time by not being able to take that bus, I walked straight back to the nearby bus stop and the bus taking me to STM arrived a few minutes later.

In STM, I compensated the lost walk by taking a walk there, and again in Itzehoe after the train took me there. I took the train via Hamburg-Altona, Hamburg-Harburg, Bremen and Osnabrück Central to Osnabrück-Altstadt and took the bus back home.
