Minneapolis, Minnesota and St. Paul, Minnesota

The Twin Cities area is subdivided into four graticules.

• Minneapolis NW, Minnesota including Northern Suburbs of the Twin Cities, bordered on the East by I-35
• Minneapolis SW, Minnesota extending down to Mankato and absorbing most of St. Paul
• St. Paul NE, Minnesota extending into Wisconsin and including nearly all of St. Croix State Park
• St. Paul SE, Minnesota including I-94 on its North end and the majority of Rochester

Mark could drive up from Rochester if there's interest with Rhonda being in the area to represent the Vancouver geohashers. He has a meeting until 4:00 though and it'd take 1.5 hours to drive up so it'd be an evening event., near St Anthony (about 0m or 0 miles by car from St Anthony, MN)

• 2009-12-05: 45.058055°, -92.929841° - By Mahtimedi High School, near Mahtomedi, MN (about 25 minutes or 16.5 miles by car from St. Paul, MN)
  • Geohash reached. Nathan made his first geohash to visit the field at 4:00.

• 2008-12-06: 44.711202°, -93.322354° - , near Between Lakeville, Apple Valley, and Savage (about 30 minutes or 22.5 miles by car from Minneapolis, MN)

Adem made an expedition there. He arrived late, but it was clear from the lack of footprints in the snow that no one had arrived before him.

• 2008-06-03: 44.957992°, -93.128935° - On St Albans St N between Charles and Edmund Ave, near St Paul (about 1m or 1 miles by car from St Paul, MN)

Joel went by there at 1pm and snapped a photo.

Also reached by Erica and her cousin Lauren around 4pm.

• 2008-05-31: 45.037487°, -93.281267° - Between the west bank of the Mississippi and a water treatment plant, near Minneapolis, MN (about 5 min or 1 mile by car from Minneapolis, MN)

Successful attempt. Joel made it to the spot at 4pm but there was no one there. Very cool that it was a spot close to the city on a Saturday, but a pretty difficult location to reach.

• 2008-05-25: 44.941774°, -93.182874° - At the intersection of Summit Avenue and Prior Ave N in St. Paul (about 14m or 6.2 miles by car from Minneapolis, MN)

Geohash reached. Abi, Erica, Ford and Erica's friend Chris (not to be confused with the other Chris) played games in the greenway in the middle of Summit Avenue until we were chased away by the storm.
