Kayak rentals?
Do you know if there will be kayak rentals there? I currently lack a boat. - Elbie 16:45, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
- http://www.northshorekayaks.com/ says they serve residents of Lions Bay.

The boat launches at Sunset & Lions Bay are private. We are in kayaks so we can launch from any beach we can walk to, but we won't have access to the boat ramp. -- Rhonda 16:51, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

- Yeah, that's pretty typical for a kayak rental. One reason I was so pleased with the $300 price tag on the sevylor - that's not all that many rentals before it's paid for itself. Plus then I can go kayaking more because I don't have the rental "sticker shock". -- Rhonda 18:20, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

- No. The $299 includes the kayak and spray skirt. You'll have to buy or scrounge a pump, paddle and a lifejacket. You'll then soon want to think seriously about a waterproof stuff bag and a waterproof camera. -Robyn 00:09, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
