From Geohashing

Plans

I have lectures in Adlershof till 5pm, then I'm planning to go to Erkner, that will make me arrive there 18.09 presumably (or 20 min earlier, depending on the benevolence of the professor) then walk to the hash and hope to build a snowman there :) Anybody else in??? --HiroProtagonist 15:45, 19 January 2010 (UTC)

Finding the hashpoint: Still I'm not among the lucky possessing a GPS, so the plan is something like walking down Ahornallee up to Dämeritzstraße and then walking back three houses. Also the hash is like 3m next to a tree that will hopefully still exist.

What's around? Apart from streams with cute and/or weird names ("Flakenfließ", "Bretterscher Graben") I dunno if there is much to see in Erkner at that time of day. There is a Gerhart Hauptmann museum [1] but they are only open till 5pm. Hiking in that area could be nice but not if its cold and dark...

Ribbons? snowman of course, but know I'm thinking about a challenge for A Tale of Two Hashes achievement for "Neuseeland / New Zealand", you think I can? (provided I'm successful tomorrow?)

I am considering to come. I would probably be a good bit later though, so don't wait for me. It seems that challenging a whole country is legit, even though the second part of the requirement seems a bit easy. It should be a honorable mention at least. That should encourage some of the New Zealanders to go hashing again. First one gets a free ribbon! :D -- relet 11:03, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
Hey, I claimed the 'Tale of Two Hashes' challenge award, yay for you being so observant! Greenslime 00:47, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
