It appears to be in the back of a Nespresso store on Sunday. Not really the kind of place I had in mind when visiting hashpoints, but I might be inclined to hop on the bus there to meet other hashers. Not sure I'll have any of that coffee though. Re: May 24th '08 ---- the location was a little over a quarter mile north of the Top Gear test track! Though I know it may not be cool to like TG and XKCD at the same time, and there likely wouldn't have been any action going on, did you not feel tempted to have a look? :) 77.102.101.220 18:55, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

This page has an unloved feel about it. Any objections if I tidy up the planning and past activity sections? I'm sure there's some discussion somewhere on decent layout for graticule pages but I'm struggling to find it... -- NorseMark 21:39, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

Discussion on decent page layout is here. --joannac 21:58, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

Retro Geohashes

Can I get any of you guys to do a Retro Geohash of any of these dates? 1935-06-12, 1977-09-11 or 1984-12-18. Please??? Thanks --NWoodruff 19:53, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

Perhaps we could get an uber-speed racer achievement by doing it in a Bugatti Veyron? :P (I have no way of getting there and not enough free time to dedicate a day to going to Surrey for a retrohash, sadly.) Homsar 20:02, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

Suggested Alternate Location

Today, I saw that somebody suggested an alternate location for the London West hash, in downtown London. I'm just wondering- is anybody actually going to be at the alternate location, and if so, when? It's fairly accessible from my location, and I'd gladly meet up with some geohashers, but I'd rather not wait around for a meet-up that may not occur, especially when it's not an actual hashpoint. -Haberdasher 07:21, 8 September 2012 (EDT)

I have no idea who created the alternative location (it wasn't me!) but ISTR it is moderately easy to do by accident by clicking (& dragging?) on the map in the wrong way. In the absence of any expedition page or discussion on the wiki, I'd suggest that you may be wasting your time by turning up. BICBW. — Benjw  {talk} 08:51, 8 September 2012 (EDT)
You're probably right. I won't bother trying- although there's a part of me thinking "but what if...?" But if they haven't said anything more, it's not worth it. -Haberdasher 10:40, 8 September 2012 (EDT)

2018-08-13 Meetup

The location for Monday the 13th of August for this graticule is in Limehouse, East London (and the location for the neighbouring London East graticule is in nearby Canning Town, also in East London).

Due to their being located in built-up areas with excellent transport links, I think either or both of these would be great candidates for a group meetup if anyone would be interested in that? Saxbophone (talk) 19:59, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
