The Carlisle graticule is at latitude 54, longitude -2. It is in the United Kingdom and encompasses parts of Lancashire, Cumbria, Yorkshire, Northumberland and County Durham, including Lancaster and Carlisle. The graticule is extremely rural, containing parts of the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and Pennines. Highly remote geohashes of natural beauty should be expected!
