The Manchester graticule is at latitude 53, longitude -2. It contains Manchester, Liverpool, Preston and numerous other built up areas.
Bank Holiday Geohashes (24th - 26th May)
- Saturday: a farmer's field northwest of Crewe (map)
- Sunday: a field north of Barnoldswick (map).
- Monday: a field next to a forested area north east of Chorley (map). In all likelihood easy to reach from Chorley train station itself.
- Tuesday: The new algorithm comes into effect this day, leading to another field northwest of Crewe, very close to that on Saturday. (map)
