Not to be picky, but I think that would rather be Jungfraujoch railway station (inside the peak on the top right here)... According to Wikipedia, Finse Station is, however, the oldest and highest situated post office in Norway, as well as the highest point on the Norwegian railway network. --Crox (talk) 17:36, 11 December 2013 (EST)

Wow, another fantastic expedition. I can't wait to read the report! Again, gorgeous photos! Thanks for sharing! -Srs0 17:31, 28 June 2010 (UTC)

Thanks again. :] Here's a report for you. -- relet 06:36, 30 June 2010 (UTC)

Fascinating terrain. There are glaciers in my neighboring graticule, but not with rolling terrain like that. Thank you for the tracklog, it really shows a lot. It appears at the end you had rivers at all sides. Even if you had continued on the trail further south and then cut west, there was impossibly steep terrain. Did the temperature fall below 0 at night? I usually scoff at what is considered MNIMB, but I think this one counts! -Juventas 04:01, 30 June 2010 (UTC)

I guess if I had had the energy I could have tried going North and try to find a shallower place, or a lot more snow to cover that river. But I was rather too tired to experiment further. I guess the temperature fell below zero, as the water on the ground was frozen, but with a decent sleeping bag and protection from the wind, I slept through and sound. And I really don't play that bitching contest anymore. ;) -- relet 06:36, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
I had missed that achievement. Very well put. I'd like to steal that for my user page. -Juventas 06:53, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
Please do. :) -- relet 07:45, 30 June 2010 (UTC)

Europe's highest train station

Not to be picky, but I think that would rather be Jungfraujoch railway station (inside the peak on the top right here)... According to Wikipedia, Finse Station is, however, the oldest and highest situated post office in Norway, as well as the highest point on the Norwegian railway network. --Crox (talk) 17:36, 11 December 2013 (EST)
