There is a reachable Globalhash today (2012-02-03) but you'd need a boat. Sourcerer 10:56, 3 February 2012 (EST)

I'm not sure where those coordinates come from, but today's UK (ie 30W) decimals are 0.61303061, 0.33535875, are they not? That would give a globalhash at N 20°20.731 W 59°16.251, which is nowhere near the UK, boat or no. -- — Benjw _{talk} 12:02, 3 February 2012 (EST)

Hashed graticules are green -- dark if they are currently active, light if they are not. Yellow graticules are flagged as active but have not yet had a successful expedition.

I've just manually updated the status of every graticule, but it's far from ideal: it often gets hopelessly outdated; for an island nation like Britain, it is difficult to visualise what is sea and what is land. There are a few virgin graticules still up in mainland Scotland, but determining at a glance exactly where they are is highly counterintuitive.

By contrast, I've been using http://relet.net/geco/stats.html - auto-updates, has a full geographical map underneath, goes into more detail about each graticule's activity. Can we embed it somehow to replace this table and enhance the 'Map' section? --SpiritofMaurice (talk) 08:37, 7 October 2013 (EDT)

I did an update in Jan 2015 with paler colours for legibility. The relet.net site is not working right now. All the non-coloured graticules are virgin. --Sourcerer (talk) 14:34, 20 January 2015 (EST)
