Plans
Well if I'm lucky, the tide will be out enough and the beach will be sand not mud so I'll go have a try. Could end up stuck, could end up drowned.. the things we do ay.
Expedition
So after mowing the back lawn in the morning, i grab my gears and drove around the harbour (Yes, the spelling is right) till I got to Coxs Bay [edit: that's actually Westmere Beach, not Cox's Bay (Jacksonz)]. I'd read the tides and figured my best chance would be at low tide, unless I wanted to swim. It's way, way too cold for that sport at the moment so I chose what I thought might be the drier option.
After getting out of the car, I descended the sea wall and took off on a rough bearing towards the hash. I had to be mindful that I didn't step in a deep pool of mud, but as it turned out it was pretty solid underfoot. So after snapping the proof of mud hopping photos I turned around and returned home.
I didn't want to curse it, but it was a really simple hash. Stoked! First solo for a while. Sorry Greenslime.
