The Saint John, New Brunswick graticule is located at latitude 45, longtitude -66. It includes both Saint John and the province's capital city of Fredericton. Its southern border runs along the Bay of Fundy, covering New Brunswick's southern coast west of Saint John almost as far as Saint Andrew's. The Saint John area, in particular the towns of Rothesay and Quispamsis, border the Sussex, New Brunswick graticule, providing a convenient alternative location when the day's location is in the large undeveloped area of the graticule.
