Location
Just east of the Sahalee golf course in Sammamish.
Participants
Plans
Day off from work, a mid-day visit most likely. The spot is on a little traffic island - maybe there is a geocache nearby?
Expedition
Far east in the graticule again, but worth it. First a discussion of grades at my son's school, then my favorite Friday lunch, then freeway east towards the geohash!
I'd been to other spots on the plateau, including a pair to the west of the golf course and one quite a ways east. This spot was easy to find, and I snapped a pic of the neighborhood sign on my way up.
After arrival on this sunny day, I broke out the sidewalk chalk and worked the curb about 2m from the spot. I then stepped into the island and on to the spot itself (though the lovely tree caused some satellite hiccups).
Mission accomplished, I took the other bridge home. Upon reflection, I could have done a Tron on this trip also.
