The Quaternary (talk) family geohashers
Plans
Today's geohash is in Hagley Park - perfect. I've printed out a Geohash poster, and plan on getting there around 4ish.
Bit of Background
The Christchurch Botanic Gardens, located in the central city of Christchurch, New Zealand, were founded in 1863 when an English oak was planted to commemorate the solemnisation of the marriage of Prince Albert and Princess Alexandra of Denmark.
The Gardens sprawl over an area of 21 hectares and lie adjacent to the loop of the Avon River next to Hagley Park. The Christchurch Botanic Gardens have a variety of collection of exotic and local plants of New Zealand.
Expedition
After all that I forgot to take the Geohash poster, but I had one of my rocks to place, so not the end of the world.
And this is not the first time that a Geohash has been logged in the Botanical Gardens - there was an expedition here a bit over three years ago - see 2012-06-19 -43 172
