After visiting 2022-06-18 50 10 in Oberhof, I turned around and walked to the Rondell/Rennsteiggarten bus stop. From there, I took a bus to Zella-Mehlis.

At the train station, my phone died. I could not have been the battery which still was at about 60%, so I was a a bit worried to say the least. After a few shock minutes, it somehow turned on again. Now I was taking the train via Erfurt and Gera to Neunhofen.

In Neunhofen, the path I was taking was paved, time to put on the skates! However, my joy ended after about 100 meters when the path turned to gravel and I was regreting bringing them in the first place, since now I had to carry them once again. (It was very hot.) I was now walking uphill and got to Weira. The skates finally redeemed themselves here, as almost the entire rest of the way was paved.

Once I left the road, only a few hunded meters were left on a forest path, I didn't even take the skates off. The path led to a mowed meadow, and there, I located the coordinates.

There were about 20 minutes left until the Saturday meetup time, but waiting that long would mean missing the next train and waiting another two hours, so I skated back to Weira, walked back to Neunhofen and took the train via Saalfeld back to Nürnberg.
