Living in the AL side of the Rome, Georgia graticule [map].
I would also consider treks to the nearer parts of the Huntsville and Birmingham, and maybe Chattanooga and Anniston graticules.
I don't have the back for hiking anymore. And i prefer to avoid big cities. (How boring of me.)
