+ | That is long trip to miss out on the meetup. It apparently didn't discourage you from doing it again. Why the frowny face? You were hoping for more heads up time? Now that you've made it to a meetup, and the suspense is over, are you looking forward to a break, or waiting for the next one? [[User:Juventas|Juventas]] 06:00, 23 June 2009 (UTC) |

Planning
Getting there by bus:
- nearest bus stop: the 351 stops on King George and 32 Ave
- the stop is about 3.4 km away from the hashpoint; quick bike ride, or longish walk
- 351 route map and time table
For those taking the bus, you can join us at these meetpoints:
- 8:50 at Burrard Station
- 9:00 at Broadway and Granville
Bicyclists: caution, there are only 2 bike rack spots on each 351 bus, and the buses are half an hour apart on sunday.
Elbie
Elbie wants to be back in Vancouver to see at least part of the Car Free Vancouver Day festival at Commercial (noon - 18:00).
- 8:30 - leave UBC by bike, go to Broadway & Granville
- 9:09 - take the 351 to King George & 32 (next bus is at 9:37) - bringing my bike with me on the bus if possible
- 10:00 - walk over to the farm
- 10:30 - arrive, conduct Ambassador hash
- after - bike back to Vancouver
plypkie
- 8:00 leave home on bike, ride ~20km
- 9:00 meet yangman at the patullo bridge in surrey, ride ~20km more
- 10:xx arrive at farm, waiting on the road for others to arrive
- 10:30 present Diplomatic Passport
- 10:31 juggle
- 12:00 or 12:30 catch 351 bus back (if there are enough bike spots)
Rhonda
- 8:30 seabus
- 9:00 351 from burrard station
- 10:00 walk to the farm
- 12:30 catch 351 returning to Vancouver
Xore
- 9:00 meet up with Rhonda for 351 @ burrard
- 10:00 walk to farm
- 12:30 catch 351 returning to Vancouver
I should be able to catch the 351 from downtown no problem. Maybe this time i'll get there 30 seconds before it pulls out instead of 30 seconds after --Xore 17:59, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
yangman
- 8:00 leave home on bike, mutter to self about bloody early start
- 9:00 meet plypkie at the patullo bridge in surrey, ride ~20km more

- 10:30 Attempt at reaching hash point
- 12:30 catch 351 bus back (planning to go to MEC and swing by one of the Car Free Festivals)
SueB
If I can do it...

- 9:00am - Braid to Surrey Central
- 9:30am - #321 to 152nd @ 32nd

It makes me sad I'm not in Vancouver. You guys are having so much fun! And there are so many new people! ... Then I remember I'm going biking with Reinhard and Manu tomorrow, and I'm a little less sad. But I still miss Vancouver. Thepiguy 19:09, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
- I miss my home graticule too. I'm soothed by the hope of scoring some exotic northern graticules for my Graticule Hopper quest, but there are thunderstorms today, so no flying. Having all kinds of new people geohashing Vancouver without us is infinitely better than having good geohashes go to waste because Pi and I are out of town. So you go, guys! Maybe put an extra pinecone on your location marker for us. -Robyn 18:07, 13 June 2009 (UTC)
What is this? It's already the next morning (it is here at least) and there's no report yet? What am I supposed to do at work all day? Thepiguy 06:48, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
- Bah, it's midnight and I'm drunk and tired. :P To summarize, success, with some cycling and ambassador. Picnic was also had. Yangman 06:58, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
- All of us had plans for the afternoon. Half the group went to the car-free vancouver events, and the other half went to play tag. -- Rhonda 14:00, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
