Yay! Ok so damn, I need a navigator when I’m driving I know this now. At one of the big spokie roundabouts in the edge of Hamilton I took the wrong exit and end up being forced to go through Hamilton and all the fringe suburbs, eventually get back on track. State highway 4 was such a mess. Roadwork’s every 5mins I actually lost count but I would say 15-18 so it was crazy. Took a wrong turn somewhere figured out why when there a sign saying no fuel for 150km… Gps is off duhh, it's the end of the "continue for 324km" so once sorted again I was off. Get to bulls and a cops sitting behind me so I pulled out the cruise control, 94kmh hehe (essentially 3khm away from the limit). He pulls over and then from a side road comes another one so I’m still like naahh gtfo. It also worked. Get to the turn off and the car beeps 20km of fuel left, oh shit... So get to the hash point do my thing, act like I'm looking for something, and actually found a nifty hat  so score. No reception so gingerly drive towards the next township, get reception, 15km Shannon bp, k car says 10km can we do it so I go, I'm fretting the whole time, like mega time, get there and diggers eating up the forecourt. Noooo, it's gotten to 0km 3 times by here and gone up to 10km at the most so I'm really getting worried now. Sorry son 17km to Levin, Fuuuuuuuuuu. I won’t make it! Ok set Gps k good (so I thought) takes me along the edge of Levin, it's just reading 0km the whole time now... I'm wtfing at my phone. Stop at this house and for help on where to go, my god you know the Deep South Americans in movies, well these people were THEM! 4 kids all had mullets the mother and father too. Oh man. So I'm running on fumes by the time I reach the shell station ay. 60.8L my god... So happy to pay the $117, so damn happy, the rest was uneventful to say the most, in Wellington now all good and well. 11 hours after leaving.

Expedition

Yay! Ok so damn, I need a navigator when I’m driving I know this now. At one of the big spokie roundabouts in the edge of Hamilton I took the wrong exit and end up being forced to go through Hamilton and all the fringe suburbs, eventually get back on track.
