I did start, but I failed again. But now, I have found a reason for all this failing in hitchhiking these days. As I have been standing there in the ''Dresdener Straße'' in Kassel with a sign showing me to hitchhike to Frankfurt, I have seen, that some drivers have looked stoic ahead and some women have looked ostentatious to the left, away from me. The reason may have been, that while I have stood there, I have worn my shortest shorts.

Some years ago a driver wanted to discuss with me my results in hitchhiking, and as I didn't answer fast, he meant to it, that a reason for not getting lifts as earlier would be, that I am not longer so young and sexy for that. Now I think, that looking too much sexy makes the things getting worse.

Plans

from GeorgDerReisende

Despite my bad luck in hitchhiking the last days, I try to hitchhike there.

The Saturday's meetup should take place near the entrance but outside the cemetery.

from Deuded

My plan is to go there by bike at midnight. This is going to be the first of a series of multi/consecutive hashs and it is my second midnight-hash at a cemetry. Uhhhh, so exciting and scary ;-)

Expedition

from Deuded

I lfet my appartement at approx. 11 pm. One hour should be enough time to do the 11km bike ride from Karlsruhe to Wörth. It was still warm outside (it's still summer :) ) and the night sky was clear, best conditions for doing a midnight bike ride. I studied the map before I left, my goal was to get as close to the hash as possible without the help of GPS or smartphone (which is the same in my case). At the first (and only) major intersection, I wasn't sure which road to take. I flipped a virtual coin ( I wonder how you imagine this :D ) and chose the road that was going northwards. After 5 min or so, I saw a roadsign that told me I was wrong. So I cycled back to the intersection and took the correct road. Since I made this mistake, I was short on time because I wanted to get the midnight achievement! Finally, with a fast beating heart, I arrived at the cemetry just in time. The hash was on a tomb! After having taken photos as proof, I cycled back to my home and arrived there at 1 am. First mission accomplished (first of five hashes in two days) :) To read on, click here
