Plans

The plan was to drive out to the far side of the Neusiedler lake to a small town called Illmitz, acquiring some means of water transport and trying to get to the hashpoint.

If this should turn out to be impossible for some reason, they had plans ready to grab the 48,16 hashpoint near the Austrian-Czech Republic border.

Expedition

The drive from Vienna to Illmitz went smoothly and they parked the car right next to a boat rental. After negotiating the terms with the shopkeeper they were handed over an e-boat. Patrizius quickly figured out how to handle it and easily managed to get them to the hashpoint.

At the point he had to maneuver the boat around a bit to make it exactly to the hashpoint, but still managed to get to it with the GPS reporting only 0.5m distance. Check! Now they could continue with the pleasant part of the trip: bring out the goods and clink glasses, as it was B2c's birthday!
