The wet and windy weather had paused. In still air with clearing skies, fogs were forming in the low lying lands. The moon was shining brightly and nearing full. As before, I parked on the concrete hard standing and set off walking under the 400kV power lines. Instead of turning left, I headed right into a tunnel to trees. This came close to the hashpoint but I had to overshoot, squeeze through a gate and walk a few metres into a grazing meadow. There were no animals to disturb. This was a Panamax squeeze. One more twinkie and I'd have been stuck.

Expedition one of two spanning midnight - 2015-07-30 52 1 - 2015-07-31 52 1 - ETA 22:20.

Expedition

This hashpoint is 600 metres from 2015-07-08 52 1. With over 170 expeditions in 52, 1 this repetition is becoming increasingly common and useful too. I already know where to park and which side of the ditch to walk without getting wet.
