January First-of-May didn't want to let a fiddly thing like the lack of a wiki stop him from geohashing. As usual, he booted up geohashing.info, and saw a conveniently located point not too far from his home.

Then he realized that the point was in a suspiciously familiar area. He zoomed in... and in...
...Yup. It was right inside the same fence as the hash he went to in 2017. Not worth bothering with. Sorry.

(He did not then realize that it would be the closest he would come to geohashing while the wiki was down.)

Is it true that January First-of-May earned the Dark Ages achievement? In principle, yes. But he realized that the spot was familiar, and remembered that it wouldn't have public access, so the expedition didn't get beyond the planning stages (2019-09-18 55 37).
