Location
At the side of a vacant lot in Beaverton.
Participants
Expedition 5000
Expedition two
Plans
My plan was, I was going to go on a run from the area where I was running errands for my parents, out to this hashpoint and back.
Jim's plan was to go by and visit the hashpoint as he was taking care of errands in the area.
Expedition
Expedition 5000
As it turned out, my parents had a lot more errands that needed done than I realized. So I just made a side trip to the hashpoint on one of them.
Expedition two
Not knowing about the other expedition, Jim stopped by and wandered around a bit to get close enough to the hashpoint. It's a bit tricky since almost all of the AA batteries for my GPS have pretty up given up the ghost for holding a charge. The GPS itself seems to need to be replaced as well - the firmware is miscalculating the date by several decades.
