Location

Fendalton Park, Christchurch, New Zealand

Participants

The Quaternary (talk) family geohashers

Plans

A Geohash in a nearby park, and we have friends staying with us from out of town - what a perfect combination of visiting a park plus introducing them to the global pastime that is geohashing!

Expedition

It was a pretty easy to locate the hash at the edge of the park which was duly documented.

However, there was a discussion that there was a possibility that the hash was on the other edge of the boundary fence ... so in order to eliminate any question of uncertainty or ambiguity, we leapt the fence to the other side - well actually, we just walked up the driveway that was on the other side of the fence, and it turned out there was a convenient gap in the fence that was just spoke to us saying "walk through here".
