I took the train to Gambsheim, cycled to Germany across the Rhine river (using a bridge), then on top of a levee, and arrived at the riverside. There I took off my clothes, put on my swimshorts and sandals, and walked/swam to the geohash.

The water was very agreeable and reaching the coordinates was fairly easy. The hard part was to record proof while keeping my phone above the water and as dry as possible. I went underwater for a couple of seconds and managed to capture the moment with my phone in a zip-lock bag: the result is therefore rather blurry.

Once back on land, I changed clothes and cycled to Strasbourg to take a train back home.
