Passing through a little town called Cassopolis I came upon a classic Sinclair gas station [41.909489, -86.012597] with a Apatosaurus!  They were much more friendly than a Velociraptor.  10/10  Continuing north, I passed through a town with a very interesting name - Dowagiac.  A local pronounced that "Doo WAH Jack".  Don't know why they didn't just spell it that way.  I next followed a very straight road north, which was surprising.  There weren't many straight roads during the journey - the lakes seemed to get in the way.  Continuing north on a side road, I passed the hashpoint (which was right in the middle of the road) at what seemed to be the posted speed limit of 55MPH (not may signs in the area).  Continuing on, I eventually found a place to turn around and passed over the hashpoint a second time.

As I only put a little bit of effort into taking a picture in order to maintain driving safety, the closest distance I have photographic evidence of is 94.5 feet, but I did see the distance drop as low as 24 feet.  Given the update rate of the distance measurement and the speed of traverse, I believe I passed over the hashpoint.

Expedition

2022-09-17: After finishing my Saturday errands earlier than expected, I set off for the 1-hour drive to the hashpoint through rural Michigan. As this was a solo expedition (and my dashcam has limited capacity), the only image I have is of Geohash Droid right after passing the hashpoint. There were a few interesting things I saw on my journey though!

2024-06-21: While planning for a Tron attempt on 2024-06-21 42 -85, I realized that I could pass by this hashpoint again! This time, I was logging, and the GPS track passes directly over the hashpoint. It was interesting to see what had changed in the area and what had not.
