Location
This Geohash is located on a meadow in Dollbergen.
Participants
Expedition
I took the tram to the train station and the train to Dollbergen. From there, I walked the rest of the distance. On the way there, I walked along a footpath next to the street an later along non-paved tracks, and saw some storks.
The coordinates were on a mowed meadow. My first approach was from the side, but (I think) there was a ditch between the path and the meadow. Before I considered jumping over the ditch I saw a much more accessible entry to the meadow and went through that way. Once on the meadow locating the coordinates was not difficult.
I took a different way back, which wasn't a good idea. As I should have remembered from 2021-04-12 52 10, that road does not have any path next to it, so I just had to walk on the road. There was another highlight however: I saw a snake on the way. It was not moving and was right next to the road, so perhaps it was dead, but I wasn't going to touch it to find out. iNaturalist contributor Tamara Szentivanyi later confirmed that it was the non-venomous grass snake, so I suppose I wasn't in danger anyway.
After reaching Dollbergen again, I took the train back to Hannover.
