Reinhard drove to work some time after Manu had left. By taking the usual way, which is the shortest, he drove through the hashpoint and took the first side road to the right, 150 m behind the hashpoint. It was just a small path with much snow and some cars already parking there. Reinhard parked the car somewhere between them, so some of the cars wouldn't be able to leave the road, because there was not much space and it wasn't sure, whether one could drive to the other end of the road due to the bad conditions. So, Reinhard had to hurry a bit. While Simon and Kriko wanted to stay in the car, Reinhard was accompanied by Wischi and Procter. They quickly ran up the hill on the road towards the hashpoint. GPS reception wasn't that good with the position drifting a bit, but it looked like the actual coordinates weren't that far from the middle of the road. After taking some photos, Reinhard continued his way to work. Since we knew about this hashpoint the whole weekend through, we started our long trip well prepared: the battery of the camera was charged up to round about 20%, no one had a pocket lamp and we were dressed in black and other dark colours – optimal conditions for walking through the darkness, sharing the street with 10 cars per minute. Location
The Geohash for today is very near my former home - only 1423ft/0.43km! Unfortunately, I moved away one year ago... Therefore I will try to go for it, and make the appropriate unlucky-almost-honorable-couch-potato-face when I'm there... anyone else coming?

Expedition: Manu
After a nice weekend in Jena, Manu had to go back to work in Leipzig on Monday morning. She already knew since Friday that the hash would be on the road, which she would use anyway. She left Reinhard's house in Cospeda rather late and rode in a autocade down to Jena just over the hashpoint. Therefore she certainly was not the first geo hasher that day, but probably at least the first one that was aware! Unfortunately, she didn't have a camera and didn't record her path with her GPS device and also didn't want to stop within the autocade for shooting some cell phone photos, as she was already late for work.
Nevertheless, Reinhard will act as a witness for her successful geohashing expedition, since she left his home by car and it would just have been silly to take an other way to Leipzig than the one that goes right through the hashpoint.
Expedition: Reinhard
Back at the car, he was asked by a waiting (for Reinhard to drive his car away, so that she could also leave) woman, whether he was from the Kindergarten, too. He said no, but forbeared from explaining her the principles of geohashing and what an easy geohash this has been! (Obvioulsy there were several parents with their children who were sledding down the slope.)
Expedition: Juja and Jens
Yes we have been here too, but not as early as Manu and Reinhard. I think I (Jens) got my last hashpoint half an year ago and even Juja took a geohash timeout the last months. But such an easy hashpoint must be collected. And so we decided to go there after work by bus and walk the last 500 meters. Looks like, this is worth a public transport achievement. But as you see, we survived. At the hashpoint we took some photos (Juja wants to upload them) and built a snowman to get the snowman achievement as well.
