:By now you manage to gather almost as many geohashers from a *single* graticule as we collected all over Germany, *with* Canadian support. Congratulations! :D -- relet 06:35, 25 May 2010 (UTC)

Original Planning

Everyone who intends to come, please sign up in empty car spaces and/or contact the appropriate driver. Talk pages work for that.

Unfortunately 16:30 at Yaletown station is a bit too early for me to meet with the downtown group. Could I join Elbie and Robyn for the 19:00 at UBC group? Whereabouts at UBC would we be meeting? Also, I have the restriction that I have to be home that night, as in I can't participate in a camping hash, if that's still planned. -Srs0 15:10, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
Elbie can't attend, so I was going to go earlier, but don't want to leave anyone behind. What's the earliest you can go, srs0?
I have work until 17:00, so the earliest I feel comfortable leaving is 16:00. Then, accounting for a quick stop at home to get the essentials, I'm guessing I'd be able to make it back to UBC by 17:30. Or, alternatively, I could meet at a closer point to my house at around 17:00 (as I guess the limitation of meeting at UBC is no longer there). However, I don't want to inconvenience you if you're planning to leave at 14:00, so I can transit to the closest point and then someone can meet me there? Either works with me, I just don't want to be too much of a burden. -Srs0 15:58, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
Can you make it to meet Yangman? If so I can go with the Rhonda car and leave mine at home. -Robyn 16:17, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
According to Translink, I can probably reach Lougheed Town Center skytrain station at around 18:00-18:15. That's 45-60 minutes later than Yangman was planning, but I don't know how flexible he is. If anyone has his contact info (or is on the geohashing channel and he is too), maybe they could ask? -Srs0 16:25, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
Definitely flexible if the group is willing to wait. You can find me on IRC to work out details. -Yangman 16:34, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
I've never been on irc before, and I'm trying now, but it won't connect. I'm using the server as irc.foonetic.net/geohashing and the port as a default port of 6667, with no SSL. I've also tried with SSL. Any tips on what settings I should be using? (Using Empathy on Ubuntu if it matters) -Srs0 16:56, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

Vehicle 1 (Rhonda)

 • Rhonda and pi meet at Waterfront Station at 16:10

 • Brief stop at Braid station about 17:00, depending on traffic
 • Contains: Rhonda, pi, Xore, Wade, Yang

 • Leaves UBC CS Building at 19:00 (between X-wing and Dempster).
 • Contains: Robyn, Arbron, srs0, Elbie, possibly one of Arbron's friends

Vehicle 3 (Yang)

Formating

Looks like this for me

My group shot is coming up in a weird place, and I also don't see the list of participants. Did I break something? -- user:thepiguy 02:45, 25 May 2010 (UTC)

I take it you fixed it. It looks awesome now. -Robyn 02:56, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
Really? I don't see a list of participants. I wonder if it's just me... -- user:thepiguy 05:07, 25 May 2010 (UTC)

By now you manage to gather almost as many geohashers from a *single* graticule as we collected all over Germany, *with* Canadian support. Congratulations! :D -- relet 06:35, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
Technically some of them live in the next graticule over. It just so happens that the two largest cities in the Greater Vancouver Regional District border each other right along the graticule boundary, otherwise we'd have a split city graticule. I think it's true that people identify with the Vancouver graticule community and not as separate Surrey graticulites.
