Blauwe BIC lives, has always lived, was born and works in the in the 52, 4 graticule (Amsterdam, Netherlands). Regular expeditions may go anywhere between 51, 3 and 53, 6.

The name Blauwe BIC refers to a specific make and colour of a ballpoint pen, despite international orientation spelled in Dutch and with capitalisation errors, all for backward compatibility reasons. Those facts have nothing to do with anything; the nickname is completely random.
