The Nuremberg graticule is at latitude 49, longitude 11. It covers parts of the Regierungsbezirke of Upper Franconia (Oberfranken), Middle Franconia (Mittelfranken) and Upper Palatinate (Oberpfalz) and contains most of the city of Nuremberg at its western edge and extends nearly to Regensburg in the south-east and up to Bayreuth at the north.
