I took the Metro line D to Vénissieux, then the bus route 87 to Mions, then walked the remaining 1.6 km toward Toussieu and the geohash. The coordinates were located in the middle of a field, 200 meters from the path. I followed a tractor track to avoid trampling on the shoots and reached the location at 16:08 (which technically isn't 4:00 p.m. but I'm gonna count it as a Saturday meetup nonetheless).
