Just in case it's not obvious, you can enter ''any'' date in the [http://irc.peeron.com/xkcd/map/ coordinate calculator], press update and it will show the location of the hash for that date.  (Well, from 1929 on, at least... if you're older than that you're on your own!)

Origin Geohash Icon

This achievement's objective is to visit the geohash location for the day on which you were born, in the graticule in which you were born. For geohashers who remain in their birth area, this achievement should generally fall near another daily location on a semi-frequent basis, and thus be fairly attainable.

Please keep in mind that, although you can take a ribbon for the successful Origin geohash, it still counts as a retro expedition and thus not as "coordinates reached" (use [[Category:Origin_reached]] instead). Therefore it does not qualify for any other achievements (especially not the Virgin Graticule achievement).

How to find your Origin geohash

Just in case it's not obvious, you can enter any date in the coordinate calculator, press update and it will show the location of the hash for that date. (Well, from 1929 on, at least... if you're older than that you're on your own!)

Ribbons

Use this template to post a ribbon on the expedition or on your user page to show your achievement.
