Expedition

The work retreat thing was happening in Vancouver, across the Columbia River from Portland, and the hashpoint was on Hayden Island, which is an island (hence the name) in the Columbia. So, it was an obvious if not especially interesting drive-by adventure.

I drove by! I stopped, even. Fortunately, I did not have my good GPS along; if I had, I suspect that it would have told me that the hashpoint was out of reach behind the fence. But the less exacting phone GPS declared that I was close enough -- I'll take it! I took a few photos and continued on to the work retreat thing.
