Location
This Geohash was located near Grünstadt and Mertesheim (Pfalz). It was easy to reach, but with all the snow and at -7,2°C it was not a sunday walk. There were some meters to walk up, but it wasn't too tough.
Expedition
Ryo
Planning: Decided to go for the Geohash, and logging some Geocaches.
Expedition: I went to Grünstadt with public transport at 09:50 and walked to a Geocache, which was directly on the way to the Geohash. I proceed then to the Geohash which has a fantastic view, directly from the location. It's like it was meant to be a point lookout. I put out my thermometer and put it down, and had to wait until it had the same temperature than the location. I build up something to attach the paper and made a little stone hill. There was no way to dig a branch in the ground, it was deeply frozen. After a while, I took the picture with the temperature. From there I headed to another Geocache, and walked directly over the frozen acres. Full of snow. It really was something. After another cache on the way to the train station, I arrived at home at 16:20.
