Expedition

If there were not trees in the way, Meghan could see this hashpoint from her kitchen window.

Meghan woke up this morning with the Little Monkey (LM), and went about her normal routine or breakfast, coffee, checking e-mail and various other forms of social media, and today's hashpoint.

Lo and behold! Today's point is a mere 350metres from home, in a right-turn lane from Westbound HWY 15/21 to Northbound HWY 15. There's no way Meghan was skipping out on this one. She would have ventured out immediately, but has the needs of her 8-month-old to consider first. It was a foggy and chilly morning, and it was decided that they would venture out once it warmed up enough.

After LM's post-lunch nap, Meghan tossed him into the Snugli and they were off. It did not take long to arrive to the hashpoint. As rush-hour was just starting, there was no stopping AT the hashpoint for photos, but Meghan did cross the turn-lane and THEN took photos. It took many tries to get a successful Grin, as it is considerably difficult to take self-shots with a 20-pound infant strapped to your chest. Meghan and LM ventured home.

Meghan and LM would qualify for both the TRON and the Deja Vu geohash, if they could provide proof. They do, however, qualify for the Couch Potato honourable mention.

Little Monkey could qualify for the Beast of burden geohash achievement, but Meghan would rather not think of herself as a beast.
