I live in Beaverton, OR and work for a shoe company headquartered there. | You may have heard of them. I studied GIS and Cartography in college, but I don't do it professionally. I have maintained my interest in all things geo-related, however. Professionally I'm a Security Engineer.

My primary goal in life is to visit all 7 continents, and I have 3 to go. It would be pretty cool to geohash on all 3 of them too.

Achievements

Shmur earned the Tale of Two Hashes achievement by meeting the challenge by Mcbaneg to geohash in Portland going to the (45, -122) geohash on 2015-06-21.

Shmur earned the No trespassing consolation prize by almost reaching the (45, -122) geohash on 2015-05-24.
