The Phoenix - West Valley graticule contains the Phoenix Metro area West of Sky Harbor Airport (PHX), roughly 24th Street. It extends westward past the White Tank Mountains to Tonopah, northward to Wickenburg, and southward almost to Gila Bend. There are plenty of hiking destinations, including South Mountain, Estrella Mountain, Vulture Peak, and the White Tanks. Urban/suburban destinations are about 15% of the area. The graticule contains Luke Air Force Base and the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station.
This graticule has been inactive for 10 years. lyricalcarpenter is trying to resurrect it.
