Plans
The coordinates are located on the route I took on the way back during my previous expedition. I’m going to repeat that trip, but this time I’m doing it anti-clockwise.
Expedition
I cycled to Marckolsheim, stopped at the Gendarmerie Nationale to report the stealing of my bicycle (not that bicycle, another one) and continued toward Germany. After crossing the Rhine on the Sasbach-Marckolsheim bridge, I wandered in the forest between the river and Wyhl until I could get some 4G on my phone and load the coordinates (Great planning!).
They were a few meters bellow a levee. I arrived there at 12:20, stayed a little bit, then left northwards.
In Rust I stopped for an ice cream, a milkshake and a schorle. I then took the ferry in Rhinau to go back to France, went to Benfeld's Lake where I swam for one hour, and headed back to Boofzheim. The next leg of my trip was a direct ride to Marckolsheim on the EuroVelo 15 along the Rhone-Rhine Canal.
My tracker app says I rode 95.19 km in total (and about 3 kilometers weren't properly recorded), which is my longest ride so far.
