I live in the Novomoskovsk, Russia graticule as for now, in its Northwest corner. There's more to follow to this page once I get to more active geohasing, probably later this (2021 for reference) year.

You probably can find me hanging around in Geohashing IRC channel as vyo2003, but UTC+3 timezone may make it tricky for some.

Why do I geohash?

Because I need an excuse and exact coordinates to go to craziest places around me. As a great side effect, this also allows to learn a lot about my neighborhood and its composition (and since naming of villages isn't especially creative - also learn about places totally unrelated to me), both while planning and travelling.

This user earned the Public transport geohash achievement by reaching the (54, 38) geohash on 2021-01-13 via bus routes 58 (Stupino-Ozyory) and 21 (Kremen'ye-Stupino).

V1993 (talk) earned the Last hash standing achievement by being the the only hasher world-wide to go on a geohashing expedition on 2021-01-13.

There actually were more expeditions that I never got to write about, both successful and not so much (one of them even with my brother!). Maybe one day...
