I took the train from Lyon to Saint-Quentin-Fallavier in the evening, walked along the road to Heyrieux for about 20 minutes and crossed the town before taking a path through the fields.

And then I met the Police. Not just one officer of the law, but half a dozen, from the National Police and the National Gendarmerie, and even a dog, all armed to the teeth, waiting in front of a house. I did not stop to take a picture or inquired what they were doing here (I was satisfied enough that they did not asked me what I myself was doing here) and continued my journey.

I reached the coordinates 15 minutes later. By the time, it was almost dark and and I had only a little more than an hour to get back to Saint-Quentin-Fallavier and catch the last train to Lyon. So I did not hang around.

On the way back I found an empty soda can, which ended up in the bin. A driver mistook me for someone he knew and we exchanged greetings. I reached the train station in the dark and took the train home.
