Congratulations! I see it as my geohashing duty to be veeeeeery jealous :D - Mampfred (talk) 18:15, 30 November 2013 (EST)
- Yeah, wow that was lucky (both the location, and that you know how to use the ice pike and other safety measures!) I tried to send you an email about it the night before, not sure if you got it though. Also I am going to add this to Hall of amazingness under "Lucky Locations"... -- OtherJack (talk) 18:17, 30 November 2013 (EST)
- Also, out of the 8 successful globalhashes, 2 have now happened on the date 30th November (and in a Nordic country, too...) -- OtherJack (talk) 18:20, 30 November 2013 (EST)
- Thanks! I myself couldn't believe the luck I had in many things related to this. Had this been a few days earlier, the ice probably wouldn't have been strong enough. But isn't geohashing mostly about luck anyway? Unless you go Bill Gates Achievement -style. Tilley (talk) 05:59, 1 December 2013 (EST)
Epic. Walk on water global multihash. Wow! --starbird (talk) 19:51, 30 November 2013 (EST)
Congrats! We sure do seem to end up with a lot of these on or near ice! Jiml (talk) 21:38, 30 November 2013 (EST)
- Thanks! Actually that is not so surprising, since the polar regions get more globalhashes than warmer latitudes. Tilley (talk) 05:59, 1 December 2013 (EST)
Wow, this is all kind of amazing. I don't remember a globalhash offhand that had two separate expeditions.... Michael5000 (talk) 03:21, 1 December 2013 (EST)
Congratulations! I also noticed this globalhash, but too many kilometers between Isopekka and global... Very good job! Maybe you are the first who will get two globalhashes, let's wait the second! isopekka 1 December 2013.
