Expedition
This was a pleasing expedition. A moon lit walk in windy woodland with distant foxes crying and barking is always good. Clouds scurried across the face of the moon and there were a few spots of wind blown rain. Unexpectedly the forest at the hashpoint had been cleared. Google earth showed smaller young trees and I expected these to be present or a little larger. A sign stated that this zone of the woodland was a research area with dogs banned. Perhaps the early felling of the younger trees was part of the research project. I arrived a few minutes early and waited for the clock to turn midnight. There was no 3G signal.
