The N36, W78 Graticule
Other than what is obvious from the map to the right, this graticule boasts of a large line of granite west of the Fall Line, and which produces beautiful outcroppings remarkable for this region of VA and NC. This line is also responsible for a higher than normal Radon Gas emission.
Other prominite wonders include Occoneechee State Park near Clarkesville, Staunton River State Park NW of Clarkesville, Kerr Lake State Recreation Area near the NC/VA line, and Falls Lake State Recreation Area between Raleigh/Durham.
