I thought you were going to move your page. I await your new username with bated breath! -Robyn 16:46, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

Didn't work. A bureaucrat has to do it. JimL 16:53, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

Just click "edit" on both pages, then copy-and-paste the text from one to the other. -- Benjw 16:59, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
It isn't just content that has to move. There are internal wiki structures that need to be fixed. The Moveuser does the right

stuff.

NOOOO! Benjw! NOOO! MOVE! Don't listen to him JimL, do what I told you. -Robyn 17:03, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

Wait, what? It didn't work? Hmm, were you logged in? -Robyn 17:04, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

Um, crap, now look what I did. Sorry, sorry. I thought something had changed when you said that you couldn't move the page, so I wanted to see the error message for myself, so I tried moving it, and look, it moved. But I see that you still need Joannac to fix the registered user bit. Please forgive me for messing up your user page. -Robyn 17:09, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

I'm not going to laugh... honest! Remember - always listen to Robyn; she knows best.  :-D -- Benjw 17:13, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
I don't know how you managed NOT to laugh. I'm still laughing, and my laughter is at least tempered by my mortification. Let this be a lesson to everyone! -Robyn 17:22, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

The problem is there are all sorts of wiki resources tagged with the username, AND even with the move, I'd have to login as "JimL", but my userpage would be "Jiml". JimL 19:06, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

Dear Robyn, I expected better from you. Stop messing up userpages :P

JimL: I replied to you, but I'll put it here for everyone else's knowledge. While there is a MoveUser function for other wiki systems, it is only an extension for mediawiki and hence not installed. We have had a few users want to move so far, but not enough for me to want to petition the wiki backend guy to install it (because he is SCARY). --joannac 21:41, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

Hahahaha! So he has to MOVE the userpage to Jiml (personally I prefer JimL), register the username Jiml and tyhen petition you to delete JimL? And I'm so sorry not to have met your expectations. I pledge to never edit anyone's userpage but mine ever again. And mine only under extreme duress. Or when I geohash, win a ribbon, change my plans, or am really bored. -Robyn 05:15, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
NOOOOOOOOOO. Who would comment and make things better then? (besides benjw, who should be renamed benjwBot for his editing dedication). But in short, keep editing. I trust the other northern hemispherers to keep you in line ;) --joannac 05:18, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
She's too far north for most of us to keep in line. And up north there all those vertical lines get REALLY close together. :-)
I claim superior northness. :-P But I still don't claim to be able to keep Robyn in line. I think that's one of those theoretical concepts that's never actually been observed. Perhaps CERN will find a Robyn boson. -- Benjw 15:18, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
Just to be on the safe side, I'll go seven graticules north of here. -Robyn 16:16, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
That would do it. But I would be impressed if you actually get any internets up there, so it might work for keeping you in line as well... :-P -- Benjw 16:23, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
I'll send my updates down attached to the collars of sled dogs. -Robyn 16:30, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
Can they carry that much weight? -- Benjw 16:36, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
Okay, that's it. I'm not going to edit anything but my own User and Talk pages for a week. You watch the User contributions and see. -Robyn 16:42, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
Awwwww, I'm sorry. Here endeth Pick On Robyn Day. I shall be good all weekend. -- Benjw 16:47, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
Actually, we've got friends up in Whitehorse, so I think they top your 7 graticules. My spouse found WiFi there.
